1 x Barone Pizzini Franciacorta Brut Animante
A northern Italian blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Bianco, this Franciacorta is highly rewarding.
A subtle perfume of lime and green fruits, with a toastiness not unsurprising given the two-year ageing on its less. Elegant, dry, precise, and persistent, there’s a crafted balance between the medley of citrus and exotic fruit, and the palate-pleasing creamy, nutty texture.
Ideal as an apéritif, it also features well with lightly flavoured foods.
An excellent expression of Franciacorta, and a worthy alternative to Champagne.
1 x Giol DOC Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry Fenice
Fine bubbles, apple and lemon fruit character. Lively acidity.
Giol benefits from excellent regional soils and fresh spring water. This yields exceptionally ripened Glera grapes with better balance.
1 x Giol DOC Prosecco Spumante Treviso Extra Dry (Italy)
This delightful yellow sparkling Prosecco is full of powerful bubbles with a pronounced nose of white fruits and blossom. Made from Glera grape using the Tank (Charmat) method, this Spumante is delicate and dry in the mouth. Also well structured to highlight its balanced biscuit and apple flavours.
1 x Il Grillo di Santa Tresa Vino Spumante Brut (Italy)
One of our favourites here at Fizz Republic. This Sicilian fizz is made with 100% Grillo grapes. Move over Prosecco!
With a fresh and fine finish, this delicious wine has zingy bursts of acidity, and spectacular fruit. Wild flowers, white peach, and nectarine on the nose. A keen citrus edge adds to the balance and vitality of the wine.
Recommended by Olly Smith in the Daily Mail, ‘Buzzing bubbly to pop for an aperitif. Pair with fish and chips, a fish finger sandwich or fritto misto.’ February 2018
1 x Wild Thing Prosecco Flip – Flop
A wine you can definitely feel good about. Wild Thing was developed in association with the Born Free Foundation, and a donation is made for every bottle sold. Donations go toward conservation and animal welfare projects around the world, so drink up!
An easy-style Prosecco, which is made Frizzante (lightly sparkling). Soft bubbles, with notes of spring flowers, pears, and a hint of peach on the palate. An excellent aperitif choice.
The ‘flip top’ bottle allows for re-sealing. Oh the convenience!
1 x DOCG Torelli Moscato D’Asti 2016/2017
Looking for a quality vegan frizzante wine without all the alcohol? This northwestern Italian Moscato d’Asti is for you! Sweet and fruit-heavy, we can’t help but love it. It boasts brilliant aromas of honeysuckle and elderflower and delicious flavours of grape, melon, and nectarine. Absolutely fabulous when served chilled.
